Final touches have just been made to the refurbishment of Hydra House and its smaller cottage annexe, right in the heart of Ashford.
Features include newly fitted contemporary kitchens including oven, hob and extractor. Bathrooms have all new designer fittings. All carpets and hard flooring have just been laid.
The main house, with sash windows, is built over three floors. It has four double bedrooms and two bathrooms, on the first and second floors.
A huge selling point is the stunning and well laid out 15ft kitchen/breakfast room which has attractive double doors to the patio and back garden. There is an integrated oven, hob and extractor fan.
There is a square lounge with a feature fireplace. The house also has a downstairs cloakroom and a cellar.
The attached two-storey cottage is at the back of the main house and looks out on to gardens. The cottage has a 24ft x 9ft lounge with two large windows. The lounge leads to the small kitchen and there is a downstairs cloakroom.
Upstairs there is a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and built-in wardrobes. There is a second smaller bedroom and a shower room as well as a landing cupboard.
Hydra House and Cottage have off-road parking for up to six cars, and fenced and lawned gardens with patio areas.
The vendors, who have transformed the property from offices, would consider selling the two parts of the property separately, subject to negotiation. Prices for separate sales can be provided on request.
Hydra House and Cottage are in the heart of the pedestrianised town centre. There is no chain – both parts are ready to move into.
Geering & Colyer’s Emma Lawton said: “We are recommending early viewings of Hydra House and Cottage.
“There is everything you could need, right on the doorstep, in a town centre location which is great for commuters.
“The garden is reasonably sized and the accommodation is flexible.”
