Three miles from Faversham and nine miles from Canterbury, Little Owens Court Barn is a charming country home in a sought after rural position.

The house is a Grade II listed barn, thought to date to the 17th century and stands in just over half an acre.

Converted in the 1980s, the main house has three first-floor bedrooms and a ground-floor annexe with one bedroom.

The front door opens into a hallway with glazed double doors leading out on to the terrace and back garden.

The hall leads into the main reception room, a large double aspect room which has full height glazing to the former cart bay.

This room provides a very comfortable family sitting and dining room, which is next to the kitchen. Beyond this, the sitting room opens into a lovely drawing room which is bathed in light, as it has glazing on three sides, and double doors leading out into the garden.

Set between the two rooms is a wood burning stove.

The kitchen has windows on two sides. It is fitted around a two oven/two hob gas-fired Aga and across the hall is a useful cloakroom and utility area.

The house also has a spacious dining room with a panelled ceiling, which the agent considers could be used as a fifth bedroom if needed.

The staircase rises out of the sitting room to a landing. The main bedroom is to the back with a square glazed bay window with views across open farmland to the Swale estuary.

This room has a range of fitted cupboards and an en suite bathroom with exposed timbers, his and hers sinks, bath and shower cubicle as well as an airing cupboard.

There are two further first floor bedrooms, a family bathroom and a shower room. There is also a deep recessed area with fitted shelves and access to the loft area above.

To one end of the property is an up-to-date self-contained annexe which can be accessed through the main entrance hall or through its own front door.

The kitchen/diner is fitted with a range of units with woodblock work surfaces over and has space for a washing machine and dishwasher.

The double bedroom has a range of fitted cupboards and leads to the bathroom.
