Medway motorists face two years of traffic chaos

Drivers in Chatham will be faced with more than two years of continuous traffic disruption when work starts on the second phase of the town centre road scheme.

It’s a nightmare prospect for motorists, coming so soon after the chaos caused by the scrapping of the Chatham one-way system.

There will be 28 months of continuous roadworks when phase two starts in September.
