A bride-to-be got her wedding preparations underway in style after winning a £1,000 cash prize.

Terri Couperthwaite, from New Romney, was randomly selected as kmfm's latest Thousand Pound Friday winner.

She is getting married next September and is planning to put the money towards her big day.

Terri was given the exciting news by Rob Wills, on Drivetime, and will have the money delivered to her door tonight by the radio station's Street Team.

Thousand Pound Friday will return in the New Year.
