An investigation is now under way after it was unclear how the fire started.

Crews were on the scene until 5am.

A spokesman from Ashford fire station said: "The owners were away and we had six fire engines because we had a lack of water in the area.

"Crews used special fire fighting foam and breathing apparatus to stop the fire spreading to surrounding mobile homes and kennels which we did.

"It was gone so we stabilised the rest of it.

"It is being investigated and they are going back today for a further visit along with the police and fire investigation team."
