Police and Highways officers have reopened a coastal road to traffic after two cars crashed earlier this evening.

Motorists weree warned to expect delays approaching the A259 Hythe Road after it was closed in both directions at the redoubt bend between Dymchurch and Palmarsh.

Stagecoach has reported delays to bus service passengers between Folkestone and Hastings. Police were called shortly after 5pm, but are now understood to have left the scene.
