Fire crews dealt with heathland alight at Lydd ranges on Sunday.
They were called at 1.50pm to Tourney Road.
Four pumps tackled the blaze, which covered an area of around 43 yards by 87 yards.
A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue Service said: “On arrival, firefighters found three areas of fire that were well alight.
“They fought the fire using hose reel jets and a fire fogging unit, which uses a fine mist to suppress the flames. Beaters were also used.”
Crews remained to damp down and prevent further spread. They left at 5.45pm.
