A man has been rescued by firefighters after his car ended up in a water-filled ditch in Old Romney.
Crews had to put up a bridge to get to the casualty after the vehicle came off Millbank Lane yesterday afternoon.
Firefighters worked alongside paramedics to free the man, who was trapped in the vehicle.
They were called at about 3.10pm and were at the scene until around 4.30pm.
The man was transferred to an ambulance, where he was checked over by crews.
