The A259 near Brookland was blocked following a crash between two cars and a camper van.

Traffic was slow on the eastbound carriageway due to the accident between Rye Road and the A2070/ B2080.

It affected travel from Rye to Ashford and New Romney.

A police spokesman said: "The collision was reported to us at 9.10am and involved two cars and a camper van.

"No serious injuries have been reported but officers remain at the scene as the van is causing an obstruction and has not yet been recovered."
