Also on Monday and Tuesday there will be offers at the Bar and Bistro including tea or coffee and a cake for £1 and 25% off all food and drink. For every purchase, £1 will be donated to the cause.

Tony Harrison, owner of BayPoint, based at the former Pfizer Social Club, Ramsgate Road, said: “As east Kent’s premier destination for health, fitness and leisure, BayPoint welcomes the opportunity to get involved in the many charitable activities that raise awareness of the importance of good health and nutrition.

“BayPoint’s mission is to be different to other facilities and make a real difference to its customers.

“Movember is a great example of raising awareness of men’s health in a fun way.

“All our staff at BayPoint believe in our vision and play an active role in delivering good advice and service effectively and have all embraced the activities we have planned for Movember 2014.”

Participants are asked to wear fancy dress, a moustache or wear BayPoint’s blue and green colours.

Sessions must be pre-booked and are open to non-members.

Every Saturday and Sunday non-members can also enjoy a free day pass to the gym, squash and tennis facilities with a suggested donation of £1. There will be one pass available per person.

Movember is an annual campaign which sees men growing their facial hair to raise money and raise awareness of some of the health problems they face including prostate and testicular cancer.
