Bringing Alive Sandwich Heritage have positioned post boxes around the town for twinning with Massachusetts

As part of Sandwich’s twinning with Massachusetts, postboxes for messages have been positioned around the town.

Bringing Alive Sandwich Heritage, is a group which is trying to convey as much heritage and information as possible about the town to the American Sandwich.

BASH postboxes are now sited at The Phoenix Centre, Jubilee Road, the Guildhall foyer and the entrance to Sandwich library in Market Street.

Letters, postcards, photos and any related memorabilia are welcome.

Blank postcards will be provided for people to write spontaneous messages.

The group will need to have everything sent before the signing of the charter for the twinning with the American Sandwich on June 14.

BASH host a tea party with the Friends of St Peter’s Church on Saturday, June 21, from 3pm.
