Police arrested a man from Sandwich for drink driving after a car collided with a bollard in Market Street

A man from Sandwich has been arrested for drink driving following an incident on Sunday night.

Police investigated an incident in Market Street when a car collided with a bollard and arrested Christopher James Beach, 35, of King Street, Sandwich.

He was charged with drink driving and released on bail to appear before Folkestone Magistrates on May 1.
