Sandwich and Thanet MPs Laura Sandys and Sir Roger Gale Wear it Pink to support the Breast Cancer Campaign

Sandwich MP Laura Sandys and Sir Roger Gale have joined the fight against breast cancer, proving that politics can go pink.

Ms Sandys and Sir Roger Gale, who both represent Thanet towns, are taking part in Breast Cancer Campaign’s flagship fundraiser, Wear it Pink Day.

In-keeping with the fundraiser’s theme, ‘look good, do good’, the pair pinked it up, with Ms Sandys, taking a flower power spin with wacky star shaped glasses and a flower garland.

Cash raised will support the Breast Cancer Campaign to fund lifesaving breast cancer research.

Ms Sandys said: “Let’s get behind the fantastic people at the Breast Cancer Campaign who are doing such vital work to combat this awful disease.

“I hope you’ll all join us by wearing it pink on Friday, October 24, showing your support for breast cancer research.”
