The Easter Bunny paid an early visit to a Sandwich care home after residents got creative and donned their hats.

Residents at Wayfarers in St Bart's Road designed and took part in their own Easter Bonnet competition and parade.

Care worker Jane Ashington said: "They loved it.

"You're never too old to have a bit of fun."

The Mercury sent a photographer to get pictures of the winners and they posed with pride to have their pictures taken with their creations.
