A256 reopens after crash near Pfizer's roundabout at Sandwich

The A256 in Richborough has reopened after a crash last night.

Fire crews were called to the two-car accident on the A256 in Richborough just after 11pm.

One person was trapped in each vehicle.

Firefighters used hydraulic rescue equipment to remove the roof of both vehicles reach the injured people.

The road has now reopened between the A257 Ash Road and the Ramsgate Road at Pfizer's Roundabout.
