Teenage pair hurt in street attack

A MAN attacked two teenage boys after they antagonised him by kicking a bottle of drink about in a public toilet.

The man had been using the toilet at around 10.25am on Sunday and found the boys, aged 15 and 16, sitting on a bench in No Name Street, Sandwich, when he came out.

He grabbed one of the boys by the neck, punched him and threw him around. He pushed the other's head against a wall. Both boys suffered cuts and bruises.

He is described as white, 5ft 7in tall, of heavy build with short curly hair. He was wearing brown shorts and a beige shirt.

He was with a woman who had dark hair and was wearing sunglasses. They both walked off towards the Cattle Market car park.

Police are appealing for information and PC Matthew Cave can be contacted on 01304 240055. Alternatively, call Kent Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
