Appeal after robbery attempt on teen near Sevenoaks' library

A 15-year-old boy was threatened at knifepoint in an alleyway.

Police are investigating the attempted robbery in Sevenoaks.

The victim was walking through the alleyway linking High Street with the library in Buckhurst Lane when he was approached by two other boys.

They demanded money from him but nothing was stolen.

One is believed to be mixed race, 15 to 16 years old, about 5ft 7in tall with black curly hair and wearing a blue hooded top. It is reported he threatened the victim with a small knife.

The other is described as white, taller than the first boy with short, light coloured hair and wearing a dark jacket.

The incident happened just before 3pm on Wednesday, April 5, but details have only just been released.
