Aaron Parker, from Brasted, near Sevenoaks, sentenced to community service

A man from Sevenoaks has been convicted to two counts of assault and failing to surrender to bail.

Aaron Parker was sentenced by magistrates in west Kent after he pleaded guilty to failing to surrender to police/court bail and not guilty to two counts of assault.

The 29-year-old was convicted of all three offences.

On March 26 2014 Parker, of Brasted Hill Road, Brasted, near Westerham, assaulted two men in Brasted Hill Road.

On March 10 this year he failed to surrender to custody at West Kent Magistrates’ Court without reasonable excuse.

Magistrates ordered the man to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months and pay a total of £200 in compensation, £450 costs and a £60 victim surcharge.
