West Kingsdown: 17 derelict caravans destroyed by fire

A fire which destroyed at least 17 derelict caravans in West Kingsdown was arson, police say.

Firefighters were called after the blaze broke out off Botsom Lane just before 11.30pm yesterday.

Crews from three fire engines brought the fire under control just before 1am. No one was injured.

Kent Police confirmed they are investigating.
