Appeal after pocket watch, wallet and cash stolen from property in Badgers Mount, Sevenoaks

Thieves have stolen a pocket watch of high sentimental value during a burglary in a village near Sevenoaks.

The vintage gold timepiece carrying the inscription ‘Edgar Richards – an act of bravery 1929’ was taken from Badgers Mount between 8.15am and 6.30pm on Tuesday, July 18, but police have only just released details.

An amount of cash, jewellery, electronics and a wallet were also stolen.

The wallet is described as a pigskin oblong leather wallet with a faint number inside. It also has a personal inscription.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone with information about the incident or the identity of those involved.

They would also like to speak to anyone who has witnessed someone attempting to sell the stolen items.
