Sevenoaks: Hunt for flasher who 'sexually assaulted' woman in 30-minute ordeal near Darenth golf course in Shoreham

Detectives are appealing for information following reports a woman was sexually assaulted by a flasher near a golf course.

The woman was walking her dog on a footpath which runs alongside The Darenth course in Shoreham, near Sevenoaks, at around 7.15pm on Saturday evening, when she was approached by a man who started following her.

The man is said to have put an arm around her shoulder.

He told the victim he had been out jogging and started making suggestions of sexual nature.

He is alleged to have then sexually assaulted the woman and exposed himself.

The ordeal is said to have lasted more than 30 minutes, until the suspect stopped following the victim when she arrived back at her car.

The incident was reported to Kent Police the following day and an investigation is ongoing.

The suspect is described as being of Eastern European appearance and around 6ft 2ins tall and with a muscular build.

He is believed to be aged in his 50s and had a grey beard, dark hair and slightly stained teeth.

He had an accent and told the victim he was from the former Yugoslavia.
