DRIVERS faced long delays today after a serious crash on the M25 involving a car and a lorry.

Emergency services were called to the scene shortly before 10.30am following the accident which happened just before junction five on the anti-clockwise carriageway of the motorway near Sevenoaks.

The motorway was closed at junction six on the anti-clockwise carriageway while one lane remained open going clockwise.
