A 37-year-old man has been arrested in connection to an ongoing murder investigation at Knockholt train station.
The man, from the local area, attended a police station today and is helping officers with their enquiries. He was arrested on suspicion of murder.
Enquiries continue into the circumstances which led to the death of a 24-year-old man on Sunday
Officers were called to the station shortly after midnight on Monday, following reports from a train driver that a body was on the tracks nearby.
The train service which reported seeing the body was the 11.40pm service between Sevenoaks and London Charing Cross.
Although initially detectives did not think the death was suspicious, further inquiries have brought new information to light.
Detectives began treating the man's death as suspicious, and launched a murder investigation.
