A major Kent panto was cancelled tonight following a power outage.

The Stag Theatre in Sevenoaks was forced to call off its 7pm performance of Cinderella following the problems.

People have also been warned that phone lines and email at the venue may continue to be affected.

The show includes former EastEnders star Leslie 'Dirty Den' Grantham, Coronation Street's Brian Capron and Ryan Moloney, best known as Toadfish from Neighbours.

Ryan plays Buttons while Leslie and Brian take the roles of the Ugly Sisters.

The theatre says people with tickets for tonight's show can exchange them for an alternative performance.

This can be arranged either in person at the box office or by telephone, once phone lines are back up and running.

In a Facebook posting, the theatre added: "We apologise for the inevitable inconvenience and disappointment caused, but all ticket holders will be accommodated at an alternative performance during the run."
