Members campaign for improvements to the South East main lines through Sevenoaks to Ashford and Hastings and for improvements to Southeastern services generally.

They have also lobbied for railways management, regulators and planners and press for commuter interests on a wide range of concerns such as timetabling, ticket machines, parking and other station facilities.

Tony Clayton, chairman of the association, said: “We are delighted to receive this important recognition of the hard work of all the contributors to our website.

"The websitekeeps our members and other rail users in the Sevenoaks area informed about developments in train services such as fares, the new Southeastern contract and the London Bridge rebuilding.

"In addition it has proved a vital source of up-to-date information at times of disruption.”

Railfuture is a voluntary group representing rail users, with 20,000 affiliated and individual members.
