Number of people arrested in Sevenoaks over the past month

Multiple arrests in Sevenoaks took place over the past month.

Police have arrested a man after hearing a report of an incident in Sevenoaks where it was alleged that two mobile telephones had been stolen from a shop in Bligh Walk, on 26 April.

David Solly, 35, of Maida Road, Chatham, was charged the next day with burglary other than dwelling. He is due to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on May 15.

Officers who responded to a report of disorderly behaviour in Dartford Road, Sevenoaks, on April 22, arrested a 54-year-old man.

Andrzej Smordzinski, of no fixed address, was charged with being drunk and disorderly in public. The man has been bailed to attend Maidstone Magistrates’ Court on June 8.

Police also charged a teenage boy after stopping the rider of a motorised scooter in Devon Road, South Darenth, on April 25.

The 16-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is from Dartford.

He was charged on the same day with riding a motor cycle on a road and failing to wear protective headgear, driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence and using a vehicle without third party insurance.

He has been bailed to attend Sevenoaks Youth Court on May 7.
