Delays for Kent motorists as trailer overturns on M25 between Clacket Lane and M26

An overturned trailer on the M25 has been causing delays for Kent motorists today.

Three lanes were blocked after the vehicle flipped on the clockwise carriageway between Clacket Lane and J5 for the M26/A21.

It happened at about 9am when the trailer being towed by a 4x4 overturned.

All traffic was held for about 10 minutes, before one lane was reopened at about 9.25am.

Highways Agency staff and emergency services worked to remove the vehicle by about 10.30am.

It is not known if anyone was injured in the crash, which was causing one-hour delays.
