A teenager’s motorbike which he relies on to get to work has been stolen.

Mike George’s orange and white Suzuki GSXR600 was taken from outside his sister’s house, near the Isle of Sheppey Sailing Club in Marine Parade, Sheerness, last Tuesday.

The 19-year-old has just started a job as security for a holiday park in Leysdown and needed the bike to travel there and back.

It is his second bike as his first one was also stolen while he was doing it up to get it roadworthy.

His mum Julie, of Hilda Road, Halfway, said: “He’s absolutely gutted about it and still in a state of shock.”
