Three-car crash on Queenborough Road, Halfway

Police and paramedics were called this afternoon to an incident where a car narrowly avoided a postbox and bus stop.

The incident happened shortly before 1.30pm on Queenborough Road, Halfway, close to the junction of Uplands Way.

A witness reported seeing the aftermath of a grey car which had seemed to veer off the carriageway travelling towards Minster, narrowly avoiding a postbox and bus stop.

The witness added two ambulances and a police car were still at the scene, almost an hour later.

A Kent Police spokesman said: "Kent Police received a report of a collision involving three vehicles at 13.22pm on Saturday, November 11.

"Officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene in Queenborough Road, Sheerness."

It is not known if there were any reported injuries.
