Cat Jon Jon is missing after escaping from cage outside vets Wellpets in Sheerness High Street with cut on its cheek

A cat ran away as it was about to go into a vets for a check on a wound on its face.

Jon Jon escaped from its cage outside Wellpets in Sheerness High Street at around 10.30am today and went down nearby Victoria Street.

The eight-year-old male feline has a hole in its right cheek where it had an abscess removed at the site on Tuesday and still needs to take antibiotics.

He is described as black and white in colour and large but skinny.
