An artist has brightened up a wall at a charity with a colourful mural.

Richard Jeferies gave up his time for free to paint the dragonfly design at the Harmony Therapy Trust in Victoria Street, Sheerness.

He started the work at the beginning of last month, but because of the wet weather it took several attempts.

With the help of some volunteers, the picture was finally finished last week.

It is on the wall of a garage belonging to the charity and can be seen from the community garden at the back.

Harmony founder Dawn Cockburn said: “It looks absolutely brilliant.”
