As England’s boys tuck into their half-time oranges a Sheerness pub will be offering up grub.

Heights of Alma has four new screens to show the games. Staff served pizza midway through the Italy game and will be doing hot dogs during Uruguay - which kicks off at 8pm tonight - and curry against Costa Rica.

It will also continue to offer a discount on pints of Carlsberg until the first goal is scored in each England game.

The Alma Street pub has been decorated with flags and bunting and staff will be wearing England shirts.

Landlady Rachel Hinton said: “We’ve put in a lot of effort.”
