Darren Rogers, of Rushenden, charged following burglaries in Minster and Whitstable

A suspect has been arrested over alleged burglaries in Minster and Seasalter.

Darren Rogers, of First Avenue, Rushenden, was charged with two counts of burglary and three counts of fraud on August 14.

Detectives are investigating after a purse containing bank cards was reportedly stolen from a home in Hodgson Road, Seasalter, on May 15 and on July 22 jewellery was allegedly taken from a property in Minster Road, Minster.

Mr Rogers, 37, has been remanded in custody to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on September 4.
