Sheerness: Officers appeal for dashcam footage after car which failed to stop was later found abandoned

Police are appealing for drivers with dashcam footage to get in touch after a car failed to stop and was later found abandoned.

Officers were alerted to a dark red Peugeot 206, which was driving in Halfway Road, Halfway, towards Sheerness, between 9.55am and 10.10am on Friday.

The car was later found abandoned on St Helen's Road in Sheerness.

Marcus Blake, of Minster Road, Minster, has been charged with four offences and appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.

Blake, 25, has been charged with going quipped for theft, driving while disqualified, without insurance, and failing to stop of an officer when required to do so.

He was has been remanded in custody until Friday, March 2, when he is due to appear before Medway magistrates again.
