Minster: Two men force their way into home in Baldwin Road and attack man with knife

Police are appealing for witnesses after two men forced their way into a home and attacked a man with a knife before stealing car keys.

Officers were called to Baldwin Road, Minster, at 10.22pm yesterday.

The victim, a man in his 50s, heard a knock at the front door and when he opened it two men with scarves across their faces barged their way in.

They then made the man go into an upstairs bedroom where they made threats and demanded money.

One of the men is believed to have had a knife and the victim suffered a cut to his head and one hand.

They stole two sets of car keys before running out of the house.

A police spokesman said: "They are described as aged between 20 and 40 years old and of Asian appearance.

"They both wore scarves across their faces and were reported to be wearing dark coloured hooded tops."

The spokesman added that it was being treated as an isolated incident and there was not believed to be any wider risk to the public.
