Sheerness man charged following burglary at home in The Leas, Minster

A 56-year-old man has been charged following a burglary.

Officers received a report of a burglary at a house in The Leas, Minster, which took place between 5.50pm and 6.15pm on Tuesday, March 7.

Items including jewellery and cash were stolen.

Alfred Mark Chambers of Clyde Street, Sheerness, was charged on Wednesday with one count of burglary.

He appeared via virtual link at Medway Magistrates' Court yesterday.

The case has been adjourned until Thursday, April 13 at Maidstone Crown Court.
