Charlie Dash, of Daffodil Avenue, Sheerness charged with blade threat and other offences

A man has been charged with threatening someone with a blade.

Charlie Dash was arrested after police responded to a report of a robbery.

They were called to Broadway in Sheerness at 2.51am on Wednesday.

After searching the area, officers - with the help of a police helicopter - followed a vehicle that aroused their suspicions until it stopped in the Nettle Way area of Minster-on-Sea.

Dash was then arrested.

He was afterwards charged with theft, drink driving, driving without insurance, driving without an appropriate licence, threatening a person with a blade, aggravated vehicle taking and dangerous driving.

There is no specific charge for robbery.

Dash, 21, of Daffodil Avenue, Sheerness, has been bailed to appear before court on Friday, December 29.
