Man left with facial injuries after assault in Sheerness High Street

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was attacked in Sheerness.

It is reported that at around 11.15pm last Wednesday (May 10), a man in his 50s was walking near the clock tower in the High Street when he was assaulted.

He suffered facial injuries and may have fallen to the floor before walking to a nearby nightclub to seek assistance.

He then went to hospital for medical treatment.

It is believed there were a number of people in the High Street at the time of the assault.
