A man was taken to hospital following a crash between a bike and a car.

The collision happened yesterday in Queenborough Road, Halfway, and police were called just after 5.45pm.

A man was taken to hospital with arm and hip injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.

A 55-year-old man from Sheerness was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving. He has been released on bail until June 24, pending further inquiries.

Witnesses reported seeing the road closed from Queenborough Corner traffic lights more than an hour later and multiple ambulances at the scene.
