Fears of 'suspicious' man outside West Minster Primary School in Sheerness

A Sheppey school is sending letters out to parents today after a "suspicious" man was reported outside.

Police were called to West Minster primary, in Sheerness, at 11.25am yesterday.

Officers had received a report a man was acting suspiciously in a car parked outside the St George's Avenue school.

It had been suggested online the man was performing a sex act.

Officers attended the scene and spoke with the motorist, but no offences were recorded.

Letters are due to be sent to parents to inform them about the incident today.
