by Emma Grove

Hip hop artist M Dot R is to launch his new single with an exclusive performance on Sheppey.

The rapper, real name Moses McGeorge, has been working on the song for a few months and is now ready for people to hear it.

It’s called Goose in My Cup and is a nod to the drink Grey Goose vodka.

The track is from an album which the 29-year-old is still working on and he says it’s slightly different from his usual work.

Moses, of Richmond Street, Sheerness, will perform Club Essence at the clock tower in the town on Saturday, July 5.

He will be joined by Hipman Junky, an artist who has toured with Dappy from N-Dubz and reggae star Tuggawar.

The father-of-one said: “It’s a little bit different and more of a club track and more commercial than the stuff I usually do.

“I’m looking forward to performing on the Island – it’s a very different crowd than when you go to London.”
