Pupils at Eastchurch primary’s St Clement site enjoy Stone Age fun

Youngsters went back to the Stone Age as part of a history project.

Dressed in prehistoric garb, children at Eastchurch primary’s St Clement site took part in role play where a sacrifice was carried out.

They also got a glimpse of relevant artefacts, made arrowheads and played ancient musical instruments.

Year 1 teacher Lisa Green, who organised the project, said: “The children loved it. We’re trying to bring history to life by making it more creative. We’ve held a Greek and Roman workshop and in a couple of weeks we’ve got a toy workshop.”
