Teens charged with burglary

Two men and a boy have been charged with burglary after police carried out search warrants.

David Brunger, 18, of Broadway, Sheerness, and Jonathen Earnshaw, 18, of Wadham Place, Sittingbourne, have both been charged with two counts of burglary.

A 15-year-old boy from Sittingbourne who was arrested on Friday has also been charged with burglary.

Kent Police carried out the search warrants last Thursday in an attempt to recover stolen property.

One of the warrants took place at a business premises in High Street, Sheerness, and the other at a house in Queenborough.

Following this four people were arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods and have been released on bail until November 12 pending further enquiries.

They are a 24-year-old man, an 18-year-old man, a 43-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman.

Mr Brunger, Mr Earnshaw and the 15-year-old boy are due to appear at Sittingbourne Magistrates’ Court on October 23.
