Crash in Minster Road involved three cars

Emergency crews were called earlier this evening to a three-car collision.

It is understood one vehicle crashed into the back of another in Minster Road, Minster.

One of the cars then hit a nearby telegraph pole near the junction with Harps Avenue.

It is not known at this stage how the third car came to be involved.

The accident happened about 5.30pm and staff at the nearby Bromfield House Residential Home heard the impact.

At least one ambulance, two police cars and a police van were sent to the scene.

It is not thought anyone involved was badly injured.

Emergency crews left the scene shortly before 7pm.
