Two accidents near Halfway Houses traffic lights in Minster Road and Halfway Road have caused delays

Two accidents near a busy junction caused delays this afternoon.

Emergency services were called after a woman came off her motorbike in Minster Road, near the Halfway Houses traffic lights.

It happened at about 2.40pm and she suffered a suspected broken leg.

Paramedics treated her at the scene.

Earlier in the day, at 2pm, police were called when a car collided with a parked vehicle in Halfway Road.

No one was injured.

Halfway Road was blocked although not closed and there were delays in the surrounding roads.
