Windsurfer rescued from rough waters off Barton's Point, Minster, on the Isle of Sheppey

A windsurfer was rescued from rough waters off the Isle of Sheppey yesterday lunchtime.
Thames Coastguard received several 999 calls after the windsurfer got into difficulties off Barton's Point.
The Sheppey Coast Rescue Team directed the Sheerness RNLI all-weather lifeboat to his position and he was brought back to shore unharmed.
