Two taken to hospital after crash closes A2 at Teynham

Two people have been taken to hospital after the car they were riding in smashed into a tree on the A2 at Teynham.

The force of the smash was so strong that the impact ripped the engine out of the vehicle.

Police were at the scene late last night and took photos of the horror wreck and part of the engine which ended up several feet away on grass.
