Emergency services called to deal with three separate crashes on M2

Traffic delays have eased on the M2 after three separate crashes.

Police were called to the first accident, involving a car that had ended up in a ditch on the verge, on the M2 London-bound carriageway.

It happened just before 6.30am between Junction 5 for Sittingbourne and Junction 6 for Faversham. No one was injured.

Just after 7am, four vehicles were involved in a crash near to the one above.

No one was injured and the vehicles were removed.

Police were then called to a third accident just before 8am.

The collision, involving a car and a lorry, occurred on the M2 London-bound carriageway, between Junction 4 for Gillingham and 5 for Sittingbourne.

No injuries have been reported.
