Suspected illegal immigrants found in lorry in Swale

A major emergency response was launched after suspected illegal immigrants were found in the back of a lorry. 

It is thought the group had been in the vehicle for up to three days before being discovered.

Kent Police were joined by ambulance crews at the scene following the discovery tonight.

Details are scarce although the lorry was stopped in the Swale area. 

It comes a day after four suspected illegal immigrants were detained after being found on a beach in Dover.

Police and Border Force officers were called to Shakespeare Beach in the early hours of the morning.
