A man's body was found by police after they were called to a property in Bapchild this morning.

The call came in at 8.16am after concerns for the welfare of the man.

Police and an ambulance crew were sent but the man was declared dead at the scene.

A police spokesman said the death was not being treated as suspicious and the man's next of kin had been informed.
